Swords of the King – shortlisted for Book of the Month – #DDRevs

I am honored and thrilled that Swords of the King has been named a “Discovered Diamond” and shortlisted for Book of the Month on Discovering Diamonds. Check out the fabulous review on the site now!

Just what is Discovering Diamonds? Established two years ago by author Helen Hollick, former indie review editor at the Historical Novel Society, the book review site showcases both indie- and traditionally- published historical novels and non-fiction works. Helen and her team of reviewers are not only passionate about historical fiction, they are also keen to help indie-published writers get noticed. As Helen notes, “we only publish reviews of the best books, so we also take note of correct presentation and formatting as well as the quality of writing…”

Thank you, #DDRevs.

Charlene Newcomb recently published Book III of Battle Scars, 12th century historical fiction filled with war, political intrigue, and a knightly romance of forbidden love set during the reign of Richard the Lionheart. There will be more to come, so sign up for Char’s Newsletter. It will be used – sparingly – to offer exclusive content and and to let you be the first to know about special offers.
