Little John? Why who else could it be but the big guy from the Robin Hood legend? I mentioned in last week’s post that I was introducing my version of the origins of the legend. Little John is a secondary character in Men of the Cross. You will meet him in a much different light–at least different from any version I have ever read about or seen. I think you are going to love him. Come along for the ride! When, you ask? Soon!! Here’s the latest:
- Graphic artist Dennis L. & I are closing in on finalizing 2 maps for the book. The drafts I have seen are awesome. 🙂
- I am re-reading the manuscript…still. Doing some minor tweaking. Marie skipped out on vacation and has taken a break from providing me editorial comments. I expect to see them rolling back in next week.
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT – BOOK COVER REVEAL
- When: Next Week!
- Want an early look before I post to the world? Email me (charlenenewcomb at gmail dot com) with the subject line SHOW ME THE COVER! I’ll send you a link to preview the cover about 48 hours before I post it here on my blog.
- And a bonus: Sign up and I’ll put your name in a hat for a drawing for a free copy of Men of the Cross!
Have a great week. I think it actually may be spring here. It hit 81F one day last week – followed by snow on Sunday. But I think – and hope – that is the last of winter. Can I ask spring to stay around until June? How’s the weather where you live?
Publication creeping ever closer, yay! Looking forward to your cover reveal.
